Tamar Ioseliani has been extensively involved in the maritime transport field since 2011. She served as a Director at Maritime Transport Administration of Georgia for 5 years. Therefore she has participated and led at different points in the development of Maritime Georgia including national maritime safety and security regulations; seafarers’ education, training and certification standards, ship registry, representing Georgia in international fora’s, etc,. She was most recently appointed as Chairperson of the Anaklia Sea Port Supervisory Board. Anaklia Deep Water Port, will be developed as a greenfield port that will enjoy a strategic location, serving as a transit hub, creating a world class port complex and establishing Georgia as a focal point of trade to and from Asia and Europe.
